Procure tools and machining centers suitable for repairing diamond drawing dies and carbide roller discs.

Prepare and set up production machinery and tooling to ensure readiness and alignment with efficient, high-quality production processes.

Perform machining and grinding of spare parts and maintenance components.

Lead tool failure analysis in collaboration with Maintenance (MT) and Production (PD) teams.

Monitor and manage spare parts and consumables inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.

Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Tool Makers, including setup, adjustment, and preventive maintenance, to reduce process lead time.

Oversee preventive maintenance activities.

Reduce tooling and consumable costs while maximizing usage without compromising quality standards.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Tooling/Manufacturing Engineering.

Minimum 10 years of experience in tooling, molds, pins & dies, with expertise in high-precision grinding and die maintenance.

Experience in repairing or fabricating high-precision molds or dies, especially in wire drawing industry.

Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance of tools.

Skilled in tool and die setup, qualification, and calibration.

Strong understanding of grinding processes and precision measurement, including micrometers, surface roughness testers, and alignment tools (e.g., laser, dial gauges).

Proficient in assembly, tolerance control, and torque management.

Experience with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD) and interpreting technical drawings for tools, components, and spare parts.

Capable of managing tooling inventory efficiently.

Intermediate in English is a plus.
