JOB DETAIL

Supervise and manage the tool room, ensuring all tools, jigs, and consumables are well organized, maintained, and available for production needs.

Control and monitor consumable materials and spare parts inventory to maintain adequate stock levels and reduce unnecessary cost.

Procure and manage machining tools, grinding machines, and repair equipment for production support.

Oversee machining, grinding, and minor repair works to ensure readiness and reliability of tools and fixtures.

Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Production teams to ensure smooth operations and quick response to tooling issues.

Support preventive maintenance activities and ensure tools and machines are properly calibrated and serviced.

Prepare simple reports and recommendations to management regarding tooling condition, improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.

Supervise a small team (2 subordinates) and report directly to the Managing Director (MD).

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tooling/Manufacturing Engineering, or other related technical fields.

Hands-on experience with machinery, tools, machining (lathe/milling), and grinding processes.

Strong understanding of spare parts and consumables management, including inventory control and procurement.

5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in metal or stainless steel industry.

Proactive, practical, and able to coordinate effectively with production and maintenance teams.
