1. Production Planning and Management
• Plan and control the production process of recycled plastic pellets or plastic compounds to meet quality, cost, and production capacity targets.
• Manage and allocate resources (raw materials, machinery, and personnel) to align with orders and production plans.
• Coordinate with purchasing, planning, quality, and sales departments to ensure that raw materials and products align with the plan.
2. Quality Control and Production Standards
• Ensure that production processes comply with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, RoHS, REACH, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control (QA/QC) team to minimize quality issues in plastic pellets, such as contamination, color inconsistency, or non-standard mechanical properties.
• Inspect and improve processes to reduce waste (Scrap/Waste) and increase yield.
3. Team Management and Workforce Development
• Supervise and develop the production team to work efficiently.
• Train employees on production standards, safety, and machine maintenance.
• Foster a teamwork-oriented work culture.
4. Cost Control and Process Optimization
• Manage production costs and reduce the unit cost of recycled or compounded plastic pellet production.
• Analyze and develop processes to enhance efficiency, such as optimizing compounding procedures, reducing labor usage, and minimizing energy consumption.
5. Machinery Management and Maintenance
• Oversee machinery used in washing, shredding, extruding, and compounding to ensure optimal performance.
• Plan and manage preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with the engineering team and suppliers to resolve machine issues and explore improvement opportunities.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in production management for recycled plastic pellets or plastic compounds.
• Understanding of various plastic types such as PP, PE, ABS, HIPS, PC, PCABS, PA6, and the recycling process.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, UL, RoHS, and REACH.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using ERP, MRP, or production management systems.
• Leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in plastic pellet extrusion, plastic sorting, or compounding and color/formula control.
• Work experience with customers in the furniture, packaging, automotive, or electrical appliance industries.
