JOB DETAIL

Position: Assistant manager for electrical service
Assistant Manager Level
Direct Subordinate: 5 members (Engineer Staff)
Direct report to Japanese manager

Main Responsibility:
- Provides solution service & maintenance service to clients (ลูกค้าทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน) for substation, GIS, Transformer, Switchgear, UPS, Motor, Inverter, PLC, Instrument.
- Advice and guide junior engineer members
- Onsite support in both domestic clients & over clients (i.e. Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Myanmar, etc.)

Scope Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and identify existing technical service issues and provide improved solutions.
2. Determine resources required for technical service and present findings to General Manager
3. Create short and long term strategic operational plans to improve service quality and minimise problems in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Collect and analyse customer issues and reasons for complaints, then develop plans to mitigate them
5. Supervise and monitor the performance of all technical service personnel.
6. Monitor the adequacy of maintenance spares and equipment requirements and ensure that the purchase order is executed in accordance with the Procurement Department's purchasing schedule.
7. Lead and control the performance of the team.
8. Review, analyse and execute complex technical studies and project scopes.
9. Prepare quotations for electrical equipment and systems requested by other overseas sales companies.
10. Site surveys to gather data for design as required.
11. Witness shop inspection and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
12. Site support engineer during construction, erection, testing and commissioning as required.
13. Maintain good working relationships with internal groups that support the project.
14. Liaise with departments, customers, suppliers, sub-contractors and third parties.
15. Work with procurement departments to identify quality suppliers.
16. Organise and participate in inter-disciplinary, group company, customer and supplier meetings for PJ order receiving.
17. Develop strong relationships and accounts with clients.
18. Mentor and assist junior engineers in project tasks.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Male/Female. Age between 35-45 years old.
2. Vocational Degree or higher in *Electrical Engineering or other relevant technical education is required.
3. Minimum 10 years of previous work experiences in field of *technical service, *engineering service with *managment experience in supervisor or manager level.
4. Intermediate level of English. *As able to support oversea clients
5. Able to travel upcountry/overseas on business trip upon request for onsite support purpose (i.e. Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Myanmar, etc.) -- All travel & accommodation expenses will be covered by the company including daily allowance.
6. Able to work on Saturday, Sunday, public holiday and night shift. Approx. 20 days/year -- Compensation will be given.
