JOB DETAIL

- Oversee and support production operations to ensure targets in terms of output, quality, and timeline are achieved
- Manage and coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure smooth production flow (key focus)
- Monitor and improve production efficiency and operational performance
- Collaborate with internal teams including Production, Engineering, QA, and Procurement
- Identify and resolve production issues using structured problem-solving approaches
- Support quality-related processes and ensure alignment with company standards (basic involvement)
- Assist in internal and external audits when required
- Report operational performance and key updates directly to the Japanese Managing Director in English
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Kaizen, and 5S
- Support management of approximately 300 employees within the factory

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology, Packaging, Industrial Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production management in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in printing processes (Offset, Digital, Flexo) is highly preferred
- Experience in vendor management / supplier coordination is highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of quality systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, FSC) is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good command of English (required for reporting to Japanese MD)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skill
