JOB DETAIL

Position Purpose: To drive revenue growth, market share, and long-term account development from assigned Asia source markets, including China, Taiwan, Korea, and other designated markets. The role is responsible for negotiating and securing group, MICE, wholesale, and corporate business while ensuring seamless execution through close coordination with internal departments.

This position acts as a market specialist and revenue owner, combining traditional relationship-based selling with strong digital lead conversion, CRM discipline, and cross-functional collaboration.


- Own and grow assigned Asia source markets, including China, Taiwan, Korea, and additional markets as assigned
- Develop and execute annual market action plans aligned with the hotel’s business plan and revenue strategy
- Achieve individual and market-based sales goals in alignment with Director of Sales and hotel objectives
- Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts that maximise revenue and profitability while meeting client needs
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to convert digital and campaign-generated leads into confirmed business
- Communicate client requirements clearly and timely to all relevant departments
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and monthly booking reports

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.
- Minimum three (3) years of hotel sales experience; experience handling Asia source markets strongly preferred.
- Proven experience selling to China, Taiwan, Korea, or North Asia outbound markets.
- Strong understanding of international travel trade, group contracting, and MICE business.
- Experience working within global brand standards.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital lead management.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Mandarin or Korean language skills a strong advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally
