• Study tender documentation such as instruction to bidder, project requirement, specification and drawings and prepare query list if any discrepancies, error or insufficient information.
• Apply additional design requirement for any uncleared specification to complete estimation drawing.
• Collaborate with internal designer to collect necessary design information for estimation confirmation.
• Take off quantities, and ensure that the specification and quantity are correct as per the provided drawings.
• Verification and validation of BOQs
• Identification of discrepancies between design documentation, contractor BOQs, and actual quantities
• Preparation and maintenance of BOQs
• Development of cost comparison tables
• Support in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
• Participation in variation and change order assessments

Knowledge of Furniture & Suppliers
• Strong understanding of cost structure for:
o Loose furniture
o Custom-made furniture
o Imported furniture

• Ability to source, contact, and coordinate with furniture suppliers both local and overseas
• Capable of price comparison, cost analysis, and negotiation with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing

• Knowledge of furniture materials, including:
o Wood, laminate, veneer, HPL
o Metal, glass, fabric, upholstery

• Familiar with furniture hardware and accessories, such as:
o Hinges, slides, handles
o Soft-close systems
o Fittings and installation accessories

• Experience in reviewing shop drawings, material specifications, and samples from suppliers
• Ability to evaluate supplier quotations in line with project specifications and budget requirements

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Architecture, Anterior Architecture or other relevant field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in QS / QS Engineer and interior
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Experience with BOQ preparation and contractor cost review.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication in English.
• Capable of working in Bangkok and other province
• Capable of working under pressure and able to coordinate with colleagues.
