Reporting to : General Manager (Japanese expatriate)

- Organize regular meetings with key customers to identify technical issues and plan countermeasures.
- Grasp site conditions, perform initial judgment of customer claims, and share quickly with internal/external stakeholders.
- Handle technical information (drawings, service data, etc.) appropriately and share/manage necessary
- Provide dealer with on-site field support and advice to diagnose and troubleshoot heavy equipment hydraulic, electrical, engine and transmission faults and repairs etc.
- Support dealer in new product assembly, providing equipment and parts training, reviewing and processing warranty claims, and assisting in spare parts recommendation and inspection.
- Plan/attend troubleshooting and conduct training.
- Support General Manager in delivering business strategies for operational efficiency and viability for the product and service support activities.
- Coordinate with dealer to collect and analyze data for market surveys and research, business planning and marketing support activities.
- Adjust and negotiate parts prices and conditions.
- Research and report on market prices and competitor trends.
- Support sales promotion plans for the dealer (LCM) and promote strategies from company and its group companies.
- Collaborate with site members to promote the collection of accounts receivable (AR) from mining customers.
- Participate in meetings with HQ and related departments (in English),
- create minutes/materials, adjust schedules, and facilitate consensus building.
- Identify opportunities for development on designated construction machinery products.
- Handle and resolve customer’s concerns and enquiries relating to the equipment machinery products and service.
- Prepare and analyze monthly service reports on a timely and accurate basis.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience and knowledge in construction machineries industry preferred.
- Good command of English language (in order to liaise English speaking associates), Japanese Speaking is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications, such as MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Excellent inter-personal, communication, presentation, problem solving and negotiation skills, able to engage with dealer in a professional and competent manner.
- Able to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Ability to travel upcountry when required
