Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the booking process for all ocean freight shipments from Thailand to company locations worldwide.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, forwarders, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
• Maintain purchase order, ocean freight booking, and shipment database to ensure accuracy and completeness. Update and maintain vessel departure and arrival schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ocean carriers, suppliers, and other service providers
• Assist in vendor management to ensure carriers and agents are meeting SLAs and following proper protocols

Performance Monitoring:
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Measure internal compliance of weekly allocation of containers to service providers.
• Measure service providers allocation of space as per our contracts.
• Manage contract and spot rate allocation to optimize cost

Customer Service:
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
• Act as primary escalation point for problems and ensure that mediation is both effective and swift
• Track and report against shipment status providing forward visibility and problem solving recommendations as needed.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Procurement or related fields preferred
• 2-5 years of ocean freight forwarding experience
• Familiarity with freight forwarding software and tools
• In depth understanding of ocean freight forwarding operations at a mid-to-large organization
• Ability to influence decisions/actions by providing value-added feedback ocean logistics product and country management.
• Business level of English (To contact HQ and internal).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to prioritize tasks
