Number of Direct Subordinate: Head of Sales (4 Segments: Bulk Sales, OAM, PGP, and Healthcare)

Position Overview:
A visionary and results-driven Head of Growth & Strategy to lead the strategic development and execution of sustainable growth initiatives across our industrial gases business. This pivotal role partners closely with senior commercial leaders to shape the company’s long-term direction, drive market expansion, and unlock new value across all business segments—including Bulk Gases, Onsite Account Management, Packaged Gases & Products, and Healthcare.
*The ideal candidate is a passionate, strategic thinker with deep commercial knowledge, exceptional stakeholder and program management skills, as well as a proven track record in leading complex growth and transformation programs


Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Pricing Leadership:
- Define and execute a bold, forward-looking growth strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Identify and pursue opportunities in new volumes, geographic expansion, market adjacencies, and application technology driven solutions.
- Develop and implement innovative pricing strategies to maximize value and ensure optimal contract performance.

Strategic Growth Program Management:
- Lead cross-functional growth programs, ensuring alignment across business units and functions.
- Apply strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive collaboration, commercial excellence, and deliver results.
- Establish governance, KPIs, and performance tracking mechanisms/dashboards to ensure disciplined execution.

Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Leverage market intelligence, customer insights, policy analysis, and performance data to inform strategic priorities.
- Identify growth levers, improvement opportunities, and investment areas through rigorous analysis.

Commercial Strategy & Execution:
- Partner with head of sales to co-develop go-to-market strategies that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and share-of-wallet.
- Promote value-based selling, differentiated commercial models, and customer-centric innovation.

Strategic Partnerships & M&A:
- Identify, assess, and lead strategic partnerships, alliances, and M&A opportunities that align with business growth objectives.
- Drive due diligence, business case development, and integration planning.

Innovation & Change Leadership:
- Foster a high-performing, growth-oriented culture across the organization.
- Act as a catalyst for growth and agility.
- Lead change management efforts to embed strategic thinking and execution discipline across the commercial teams.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Education:
- University degree in Engineering is required.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is highly preferred.

Experience & Expertise:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in business transformation, strategic development, and execution, ideally within the *industrial gases or *petrochemical sectors.
- Proven track record in leading complex, cross-functional growth initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Deep understanding of industrial gases technologies, applications, and capital-intensive project environments.

- Strong strategic orientation and business acumen with a forward-looking mindset.
- Exceptional program and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Demonstrated influencing and change leadership skills across diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
- Technology-savvy, with a solid understanding of Salesforce.com and commercial digitalization platforms.
- Excellent English communication and executive presentation skills.
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity.
