1. Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute national commercial strategy aligned with regional/global goals.
- Drive revenue, market share, and profitability growth.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities.
2. Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and coach national sales team to meet targets.
- Set KPIs, track performance, and foster a customer-focused culture.
3. Key Account Management
- Manage strategic relationships with shippers, NVOCCs, and forwarders.
- Oversee contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
4. Forecasting & Performance Monitoring
- Oversee sales forecasts, budgets, and reporting.
- Align with Trade, Operations, and Finance on volume and pricing.
- Adapt strategies based on market trends.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and Trade teams for seamless service delivery.
- Represent commercial interests in management and regional forums.
6. Market Intelligence
- Monitor customer needs, competitors, and industry trends.
- Provide insights to refine strategy and decision-making.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime, International Trade, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years in container shipping, incl. 5+ years in senior commercial/sales leadership.
- Track record in revenue growth, key account management, and team leadership.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.
