Manage the quality system in the wooden pallet and crate manufacturing factory in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISPM 15, ISO 9001, Customer Requirements) to ensure that export products meet customer specifications, and to reduce the NG rate. Oversee compliance with quality inspection procedures from raw material receiving through to product delivery.

- Define quality policies and standards for pine wood, raw materials, and finished products (pallets / wooden crates).
- Control and inspect product quality according to PAP Quality Standards, Customer Specifications, and ISPM 15.
- Manage the QC team – workforce planning, training, performance evaluation, and skill development.
- Analyze and monitor defect trends, NG rate, and customer claims, leading to corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales departments to resolve quality issues.
- Prepare quality documents such as Inspection Reports, COA, QC Checklists, Work Instructions, and Procedures.
- Oversee incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection before export.
- Apply problem-solving and quality tools such as 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis, 8D Report, and PDCA.
- Coordinate internal and external audits (Customer Audit, ISO Audit, Supplier Audit).
- Plan continuous improvement of the quality system, e.g., waste reduction and establishing inspection standards.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in wooden packaging / pine wood / pallets / wooden crates / export packaging will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISPM 15 and ISO 9001 standards, with proven experience in team management and systematic quality problem-solving.
- Knowledge of wood defect criteria (cracks, knots, blue stain, warping, dimension tolerance).
Proficiency in quality tools (7 QC Tools, SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D Report).
- Strong leadership at the managerial level with decisive decision-making skills.
- Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.
- Good communication skills, able to coordinate effectively with production teams and customers.
- English is Intermediate Level.
- Able to start working immediately.
