A Business Strategy Director is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the overall business strategy of an organization. This involves leading the development of strategic plans, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. They also play a crucial role in guiding cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving initiatives that support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:
Developing and implementing long-term business strategies, including market analysis, competitive analysis, and opportunity identification.

Growth Initiatives:
Identifying and evaluating new growth opportunities, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Working with various departments (marketing, finance, operations, etc.) to ensure alignment and integration of strategic initiatives.

Performance Monitoring:
Tracking and evaluating the performance of implemented strategies, making adjustments as needed, and reporting to senior management.

Leadership and Mentorship:
Providing guidance and leadership to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Effectively communicating the company's vision, mission, and strategy to various stakeholders, including employees, partners, and investors.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or Econ.
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Planning, Business Developing or Business Analyst preferably in a multinational environment.
- Fluent in English; Japanese proficiency is an asset.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing both microeconomic and macroeconomic factors to support strategic decision-making.
- Proven ability in identifying, assessing, and managing risks, while proactively uncovering and leveraging business opportunities.
