JOB DETAIL

1.) Manage day-to-day operations of the CNC department, including workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
2.) Oversee the machining of precious metals and specialized materials used in fine jewelry
3.) Collaborate with design, product development, and quality control teams to ensure the feasibility and manufacturability of components
4.) Ensure compliance with tolerances, finishing standards, and aesthetic requirements specific to luxury products
5.) Lead continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity, reduce cycle times, and enhance tool life
6.) Maintain and optimize CNC programs in collaboration with internal CAM engineers or external software providers
7.) Supervise maintenance and calibration of CNC equipment, ensuring peak performance and minimal downtime
8.) Ensure all team members follow safety, quality, and production protocols
9.) Train and mentor technicians, fostering a culture of craftsmanship and precision

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

1.) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; or equivalent technical training
2.) Minimum 5–8 years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
3.) Proven expertise in 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines, ideally within high-precision or luxury goods industries
4.) Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM systems (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Mastercam, Siemens NX)
5.) Familiarity with working on precious metals (gold, platinum) and fine detailing
6.) Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
7.) Fluent in reading technical drawings, tolerancing standards, and surface finish specifications
8.) Excellent communication skills in English (Report to the Foreign Director plant manager)
9.) Understanding of CNC integration with digital production workflows and ERP systems
10.) Training in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
