As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for buying the right materials at the right time to match the production schedule. Closely working with the production team to ensure productions stay on schedule.

You will be in charge of:
1. Make sure production is on schedule
• Planning and updating production schedule to each process.
• Conducting daily meeting with production team, to make sure production progress is on schedule.
• If there are any delays, you will follow up and help solve the issue
• Cooperation with production to discuss material and delivery time, to purchase the right materials at the right time to match the production schedule.
• Production capacity calculation and update on a daily bases.

2. Order management and delivery coordination
• Receiving order from customers and making delivery plan.
• Making Daily report and updating customer orders and delivery time.
• Following up order confirmation - review and confirm orders.

3. Managing the warehouse/storage area in the factory
• Responsible for store function
• Proper store layout and control of materials/products

4. Other roles
• Controlling and improving 5S & Small Kaizen, QCC activities, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001.
• Team Management (Direct subordinate: 5 staff)
• Other tasks assigned by manager

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Vocational, Diploma, Bachelor in Engineering or related field.
• Must have at least 4 years of professional experience in procurement in the manufacturing industry.
• Having knowledge/experience in Production Management/Planning is highly preferred.

• Proficient in using computer, Word, Excel, Power point.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Working experience in Japanese company is highly preferred.
• Strictly no job hopper

Personality:
• You must have strong communication skills, as you will collaborate across departments, follow up on the production process, and more.
