1. Footwear Design Support:
- Collaborate with footwear designers to understand design concepts and assist in the development of technical drawings and specifications.
- Create and modify patterns and prototypes to match the design intent.
- Contribute ideas for material selection, construction methods, and aesthetic details.

2. Materials and Components Management:
- Procure, track, and manage materials and components used in footwear production.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials, considering factors like durability, cost, and performance.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and stay updated on industry trends and innovations.

3. Prototype Development:
- Construct prototypes and samples based on design specifications.
- Ensure prototypes meet quality standards, making necessary adjustments to improve fit, comfort, and aesthetics.
- Perform testing and evaluate the performance of prototypes.

4. Quality Control:
- Inspect finished footwear products to identify defects or irregularities.
- Implement quality control processes to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Communicate findings and suggest improvements to the production team.

5. Production Process Oversight:
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes.
- Ensure consistency in product quality and help identify and resolve production issues.
- Support the implementation of efficient and cost-effective production methods.

6. Research and Development:
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in footwear technology and materials.
- Conduct research to identify new trends and innovations in the footwear industry.
- Work on developing new products or improving existing ones.
- Scheduling training sessions and refresher workshops as required
- Production of documentation including products manuals
- Develop tools to streamline Sensory Perception Testing of Deckers Footwear and Apparel
- Manage key steps of the innovation product testing process, from test plan definition stage, to test execution and communication within the innovation and product creation teams.
- Use Sensory Science to Analyze Fit, Wear, and Performance Results throughout the footwear and apparel R&D cycles.

7. Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of materials, designs, prototypes, and production processes.
- Create technical documentation, such as specifications and instructions for production teams.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- A degree or certification in footwear design, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD) and 3D modeling tools – advantage
-Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes.
- 2+ years of footwear development experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- English commination skill and also advantage for Thai speaker
- Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in English.
- Knowledge of sustainability and eco-friendly practices in the footwear industry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of athletic footwear manufacturing and development processes.
- Ability to manage projects from concept to confirmation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and CAD software.
