Key Responsibilities
Coordination and Supervision
• Oversee, coordinate, and monitor the workings of various departments.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between support functions like HR, Store Teams, Warehouse, and Finance.
Financial Management
• Review sales reports, financial statements, and operational data to improve profitability.
• Prepare and control operational budgets and manage inventory.
• Develop strategies for the company’s financial well-being.
Best Practices and Policies
• Formulate, implement, and improve policies and processes aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure adherence to company regulations and procedures.
Human Resources Management
• Plan and optimize human resources usage, including creating organizational structures and task delegation.
• Supervise staff, monitor performance, and establish work schedules.
Performance Monitoring
• Monitor and enhance performance across warehousing, pricing, and distribution departments.
• Ensure the quality of service, employee productivity, and equipment maintenance.
Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service
• Support sales and marketing initiatives.
• Manage customer support to ensure client satisfaction.
Strategic Planning and Execution
• Collaborate with top management to develop and implement operational strategies.
• Lead and execute operational plans effectively.
Store Operations Management
• Set up and manage store operation standards.
• Analyze business trends to optimize inventory flow and provide action plans to the operations team.
• Conduct store visits (1–2 times per month) to assess and recommend operational improvements.
Store Openings
• Lead and manage all aspects of new store openings.
• Allocate tasks and manpower, manage budgets, and explore insurance options for new shops.
Additional Duties
• Perform other tasks as required by the CEO.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Management or Business Administration.
Experience:
• Minimum 22 years as an Operations Manager in the retail industry.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of operations management, business principles, and financial practices.
• Proficiency in human resource management, project management, and information technology.
• Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
• Ability to lead, delegate, and influence others.
• Adaptable, stress-tolerant, and effective in teamwork environments.
Language:
• Proficiency in English is required.
