JOB DETAIL

• Technical Consultation: Provide expert guidance to customers on solar energy systems,
including sizing, installation, and integration with existing home systems.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and present
customized solar solutions that meet those needs effectively.
• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest solar technology, products, and industry
trends to educate customers and provide accurate information.
• Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals and quotes for customers, clearly
outlining the benefits, costs, and potential savings associated with solar energy
systems.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with installation teams to ensure a smooth
transition from sale to installation, ensuring that customer expectations are met.
• Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with residential
customers, providing excellent customer service and follow-up support.
• Training and Education: Educate customers about the benefits of solar energy and
assist with any inquiries regarding financing options, incentives, and rebates.
• Market Analysis: Gather feedback from the market and analyze competitor offerings to
help refine product offerings and sales strategies.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a sales or technical role, preferably within the solar or renewable
energy industry is a must.
• Strong understanding of solar technology, energy efficiency, and residential energy
systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage customers
effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
environment.
• Familiarity with design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope) is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
