JOB DETAIL

• Handling litigation procedures under civil cases such as hire purchase, leasing, etc., criminal cases such as bounce cheque cases, and other special cases such as bankruptcy cases;
• Carry out legal execution processes such as seized properties, auction, and writing of bad debt;
• Negotiate with debtors under litigation procedure to settle payments;
• Follow up with outsource lawyer and/or agent to follow up on investigation result and any other court procedure;
• Update and report civil and criminal as well as customer under legal execution process to management;
• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinion and other legal assignments upon management request;
• Other legal tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• Possess a lawyer license.
• At least 3 years of litigation experience in civil cases, criminal cases, and others such as bankruptcy, etc., and the legal execution process.
• Experience working in a financial institute is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Being a team player with good self-responsibility.
• Able to travel out of town.
• Computer literate in Microsoft word and excel.
• Fair understanding of English. (listening, speaking, and writing)
• Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and should be a trouble shooter.
