The position is responsible for performing the mechanical maintenance activities related to the power and utilities generating facility, mechanical discipline. The position works within the boundaries of all established maintenance management programs and strategies related to his trade.
1. Periodic and non-periodic Maintenance
- Execute preventive and corrective, periodic and non-periodic maintenance tasks.
- Create periodical summary work report
2. Periodic Tests and Inspections
- Execute periodic tests and inspections on plant systems either imposed by legislation or to prove equipment reliability and availability.
- Advice Section Manager for any improvement and performance report
3. Maintenance and Inspection Plan
- Work with software based periodic maintenance and inspection plan when directed.
- Preparing tools and spare part following the plan ready before work start
4. Spare Parts and Consumables
- Advise the maintenance Section Manager to be register in warehouse and purchase process of spare parts and consumables.
- Issue MR or PR with clearly specification and cooperation with purchasing team
5. Planned Outages
- Assist the maintenance Section Manager and conduct the work in the preparation of the planned outages.
- Control budget following maintenance activities with work high performance result and Plant reliability
6. Maintenance procedures
- Follow maintenance procedures and makes recommendations for updates.
- Feedback any request procedure improvement to match with current work activity and safety
7. SSHE Policy
- Handle the malfunction reporting and intervention demands following the permit to work system and safety procedures.
- Aware and Perform work under SSHE Policy. Report any incident/Accident or near miss found.
- Advice and suggest contractor to follow SSHE policy and Regulation
8. Training
- Propose training program subjects according to his needs.
9. Personal Development
- Ownership and responsibility for self development and learning while pro-actively engage in formal and informal self-assessment processes.
10. Contractor management and control
- Supervise and coordinate contractor to ensure work quality and meet requirement
11. Analyze case of accident and incident with RCA report
12. Ensure compliance with Group Security, Safety, Occupational Health and Environment Policy
13. Complete other jobs as assigned by management

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Male or Female, Age 25-35 years old
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Entry Level (2 to 5 years)
- Mechanical aptitude, Not afraid to get “hands on” and dirty, Desire to learn mechanical skills and trade and an ability and desire to communicate internally and externally.
- Responding to emergency situations:
- Being available “on call” 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
- Using proper tools and test equipment and material ensuring electrical repair is accomplished in short notice.
- Working side by side with contractor employee.
- Engineering knowledge, skill and standard for work and equipment
- Conscientious and informed while engaged in work permitting lock out, tag out of mechanical systems
- Paying special attention towards periodic and non-periodic mechanical maintenance tasks, (preventive & corrective maintenance)
- Trouble shoots mechanical systems, equipment and components
- Retrieve from the warehouse inventory system consumables and spare parts
- Execute periodic electrical tests and inspections on plant systems, (as imposed by legislation or to demonstrate equipment reliability and availability)
