• Manage and support R&D team to develop packaging materials to meet with customer
requirement and quality standards.
• Raw Material Development to support new product development, cost reduction / Improvement and sustainable packaging
• Product Design & Innovation by seeking for new innovation and technology in packaging industry and adapt to company.
• Budget and cost management of materials and reduce materials usage.
• Analyze market requirements with the management committee to set a yearly product strategy plan.
• Manage RD team and laboratories for supporting company sites.
• Create innovative products, specifications, standard test methods, and quality information to deploy to all concerned departments, and keep quality monitoring from sample production until commercial order to ensure quality performance.
• Handle problem analysis, solving, and service for customers and the company.
• Cooperate with the sales, purchasing, and Production teams and material suppliers for product quality.
• Build a close communication and relationship with customers as you provide technical knowledge and fast response on any customer request or issue.
• Work with the sales for Sustainability Projects
• Cooperate with group company in ASEAN to researchers for product development projects.
• Support plant audits from customers or system certification bodies such as ISO, FSSC, BRC, and HACCP.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge in packaging / polymer / plastic materials / R&D field.
• Experience in R&D packaging for more than 10 years is an advantage.
• Technical competency (problem solving, project management & improvement,
technical support)
• Good command in English
• Experience in R&D function in packaging ( Film , Plastic ) longer than 5 years
• Experience in flexible packaging or Film production process.
• Education: Specification: University – Bachelor degree or above
