Report to: Head of Department ( Singapore)
Department: Industrial Inkjet Printer

Job Summary
- Primarily responsible for providing technical support to sales team and customer for the advancement of label press business in the company
- Secondarily responsible for supporting regional label press presales activities.

Main Responsibility
- To Provide technical expertise and support in:
1. Label press product demonstrations that include RIP and related software.
2. Samples printings to fulfil customers’ requests, sample kits refreshment and tradeshow support.
3. Print sample color matching
4. Joining and supporting sales team in customer visits to address advance technical presales requirements.
- Prepare training materials and conduct on-site label press training for new install base.
- Provide technical support for post-installation issues that are presales related.
- Understand new products through attending training and learning from various internal sources
- Engage company regional headquarters for technical related matters
- Prepare regular reports as well as ad-hoc reports
- Close collaboration with team members such as Pre-sales, Product Manager & Sales

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor Degree in the field of Engineering or Imaging and Printing Technology
- At least 3 years of handling RIP and color management
- At least 3 years’ experience presales for printing equipment
- Good understanding of color management basics such as measurement metrics, (LAB, LCH, Delta E formula), color profiling, viewing lighting, color standards (Fogra 39, 51, Gracol 2006, 2013, PANTONE, etc)
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe illustrator in file handling and editing
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat in file preview, analysis and preflight (if required)
- Spectrophotometers usage and settings (light source, Delta E formula, measuring angle etc.)
- Knowledge of industry applications related to printing
- Good in Presentation skills
- Good command in English (Listening , Speaking , Writing , Reading)
- Able to work with diverse nationality & culture as well as cross function collaboration, in other words must be a good team-player.
- Able to travel domestic and travel aboard
- Have an own car and driver license
