JOB DETAIL

• Case Analysis & Planning
– Research and analyze applicable laws, regulations, and case facts related to company incidents, and provide well-founded recommendations and preventive measures.
• Regulatory Research
– Track, collect, and update information on national and regional laws, judicial precedents, and government decrees affecting Group companies.
• Business Negotiations & Documentation
– Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, letters, and memoranda in accordance with Group templates and local regulatory requirements.
• Compliance
– Work with compliance officers to advise management on key compliance matters, including anti-bribery, competition law, data protection, and whistleblowing. Prepare training programs and compliance-related materials.
• Legal Procedures
– Support Group companies in lawsuits, labor disputes, criminal proceedings, and immigration-related processes.
• Internal Management Support
– Assist senior legal team members with document control, record management, and special projects to improve efficiency and team performance.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum 5 years of experience (experience in Japanese companies preferred).
- Experience in legal & compliance is an advantage.
- Lawyer License (must).
- TOEIC 785+ or Confident in English communication.
- Knowledge in Civil & Commercial Code, Labor Law, Company Law
- Anti-bribery, Anti-trust, Data Protection (PDPA/GDPR)
- Skill in Legal Drafting & Reviewing contract, Communication Skills, Compliance Training
- Effort based on the practice, result, Problem-solving mindset, Continuous learning, Integrity & Ethics
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
