JOB DETAIL

Job Scope:
- Directs and oversees all aspects of the organization’s food and beverage planning and service, with duties to include menu planning and costs, preparation and presentation of food and drinks, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Plans, coordinates, and oversees special events.
- Identify marketing opportunities to promote food and beverage products.
- Reports to top management.
- Provide strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
- Provide suggestion into developing the budget.
- Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.

Main Responsibility:
1. Coordinate food and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service;
2. Direct the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for food and beverage operations;
3. Exercise quality control for both food and beverage;
4. Implement and maintain F&B sales/marketing programs;
5. Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance;
6. Prepare annual budgets and administers in a fiscally responsible manner;
7. Follow department policies, procedures and service standards;
8. Lead and supports all Food & Beverage departments on the achievement of their financial and operational targets;
9. Negotiate with union stewards, and union business representatives on contract negotiations and when labor issues arise;
10. Prepare and adhere to the F&B departmental budget;
11. Review weekly catering reports with summary of results to Executive Director;
12. Other duties as assigned by the General Manager;
13. Establish and maintain effective internal controls within the F&B operation;
14. Direct and oversee development of employees;
15. Attains food and beverage sales goals by executing marketing strategies and controlling costs.


REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Male/Female. Age between 35-45 years old.
2. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
3. More than 10 years of work experience in food & beverage management field from hotel and/or resort with strong marketing strategic planning skills. (Experienced in a similar position in 5 star hotels is a plus).
4. Intermediate level of English.
5. Able to work at Khaoyai.
