JOB DETAIL
REPORTING TO : VICE PRESIDENT
DEPARTMENT : SALES & MARKETING
Responsible for Sales & Marketing matters focusing on Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Myanmar
1. To activate sales & business development for cross border trucking product as per the KPI set;
2. Lead the sales team by developing and implementing sales plans to increase the company’s profit and motivating the sales team to hit sales goals;
3. To build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships;
4. To establish and develop new business with existing and new customers;
5. To promote the company brand name in the market;
6. To define, develop and implement the business plan in Thailand;
7. Act as business subject matter expert in the development of our sales strategy, sales pipeline, and development to support more efficient and effective business development processes.
8. To maintain good relationships with trucking partners;
9. To assist in market studies and analysis;
10. Lead, collaborate, and participate with internal teams (Commercial, Operations, Finance, etc. in determining Customer solutions with integrity, tact, courtesy, and persistence.
11. Review weekly/monthly sales activities and prospective customers
12. Communicate effectively and regularly with Management on goals, challenges, and objectives
13. To perform any special duties or projects as assigned by the Executives
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum Level of Qualification:
a. Bachelor’s degree / University graduate in Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
b. . Minimum 10 years of working experience in sales with at least 5 years relevant experience in a managerial position in the Logistics or Freight Forwarding industry with a PROVEN sales track record.
c. Knowledge in 3PL/Contract Logistics / Cross border trucking will be an added advantage
d. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
e. Good attitude, independent and self-motivated
f. Strong presentation skills with fluency in both written & spoken English.
g. Possess own vehicle and is willing to travel.
Professional Skills:
a. Excellent command of spoken and written English and/or Chinese will be an advantage.
b. Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
c. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
d. Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
e. Self-confident with a positive attitude with strong negotiation skills such Land-Air/Sea-Truck service, CBT, Consolidation/Groupages, etc.
f. Working effectively with others
g. Excellent Team Management
