JOB DETAIL

Monitoring related activities:
● Monitor the EDI system to make sure that every transaction is processed correctly. You will also track any unusual or suspicious behaviors to prevent issues in the future (proactive maintenance).
● Monitor the integration of transactions in our customer’s ERP system (SAP) to check that all IDOC files have been integrated successfully.
● Analyze and process all notification alerts to identify the error and its root cause.
● Manage requests and alerts using a ticketing tool.
● Ensure all issues are solved within the SLAs.
● Ensure communication in English or Japanese with the right team or our customer’s business partners to inform, coordinate, and escalate if necessary.
● Report on a recurrent basis of all ongoing issues to the project director.

Technical-related activities:
● Understand the technical root cause of an issue and perform simple technical tasks to solve it, such as changing the configuration of the EDI software, performing development on mappings, testing new connection setups, and more.
● Describe precisely how to reproduce bugs to the support team of our EDI software.
● Perform testing of technical fixes and manage the deployment in production.
● Maintain and communicate the changelog to our customers.
● Participate in workshops with our customers to improve the efficiency of the current system
● Maintain technical documentation and our support knowledge base.
You will be trained by our team for all these tasks.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Male or female, age 25-40 years old
• Japanese nationality or other nationalities (including Thai) fluent in Japanese or with a fluency level of N1. Other Asian languages are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education in Information Technology
• 2 - 5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in EDI or ERP systems.
• A good understanding of business processes (procurement, supply chain…) is a plus.
• Knowledge or experience in EDI and SAP will be specifically considered.
• Experience in using a ticketing system.
• Basic knowledge of XML and XSLT is a plus.
• Genuine interest in both the functional and technical aspects of a digital solution
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a customer
• Organized and always on time with the defined working schedule (e.g., Japanese working hours)
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow more within the organization.
• Comfortable in multicultural environments and under high pressure when there are emergencies.
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player able to train and coach team members
