JOB DETAIL

1. Accounting (Full Set)
-Handle full-set accounting (AP, AR, GL, cash management)
-Record daily transactions accurately
-Maintain up-to-date accounting records and ledgers
-Manage petty cash, bank transactions, and reconciliations
-Analyze variances and identify unusual transactions
-Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
-Prepare accruals and prepayments
-Reconcile GL accounts and supporting documents
-Review journal entries and related documents
-Ensure compliance with accounting standards

2. Accounts Payable (AP)
-Verify vendor invoices and supporting documents
-Prepare payment vouchers and payment schedules (local/overseas)
-Process payments (bank transfer, cheque, online banking)
-Issue withholding tax certificates
-Reconcile AP accounts and support audit confirmations

3. Accounts Receivable (AR)
-Issue tax invoices and receipts
-Manage monthly billing for local customers
-Follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile accounts
-Prepare AR aging and credit reports
-Perform AR reconciliations and support audit confirmations

4. Tax & Compliance
-Prepare reports
-Coordinate with Revenue Department, DBD, and authorities

5. Audit & External Coordination
-Coordinate with external accounting firms for closing
-Support external auditors
-Prepare audit confirmations and documents

6. Finance & Cash Management
-Prepare and forecast cash flow; report to Managing Director
-Manage overseas remittances
-Handle forward contracts and coordinate with banks
-Monitor cash flow and liquidity

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
-Intermediate level of English (your report line is a Japanese manager)
-Around 7 years of accounting experience (full-set preferred)
-Able to handle month-end closing and daily accounting tasks independently (working with external accounting firm)
-Experience in AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation
-Knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations
-Good coordination skills with internal teams and external parties
