JOB DETAIL
- Serve as a primary engineering liaison with the North America‑based Stove Brand Commercial Ranges engineering team, conducting technical communication in English to support global product development activities.
- Participate in recurring virtual engineering meetings, including live CAD design reviews conducted via Microsoft Teams.
- Support the transfer and localization of Stove Brand Core Surface and related product platforms into the Prachinburi manufacturing facility.
- Coordinate and execute design improvement initiatives in collaboration with global and local engineering stakeholders.
- Support agency and regulatory compliance activities, including participation in product testing, certification processes, and periodic audits.
- Ensure designs meet requirements for manufacturability, serviceability, usability, and safety, optimizing designs throughout the development lifecycle through cross‑functional engagement and hands‑on validation.
- Develop concept sketches, detailed drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications in support of new and existing product designs.
- Collaborate closely with quality, service, and production teams to support successful product execution and continuous improvement.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to test performance evaluations, project schedules, and cost assessments as required.
- Assist in the assembly, evaluation, and validation of functional prototypes during development phases.
- Support service readiness by facilitating the setup of service parts, kits, accessories, and documentation to ensure availability at product launch.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 1-3 years of mechanical design experience, with demonstrated exposure to manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, including sheet metal design and modeling.
- Working knowledge of prototyping methods and the ability to assess supplier manufacturing capabilities.
- Understanding of common manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to read, create, and maintain technical documentation and engineering drawings.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and structured problem‑solving capabilities.
- Experience with ERP and PLM systems; familiarity with QAD and Arena is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a combination of office, laboratory, and production floor environments as required.
- Excellent in English
