As a Sales Engineer Deputy GM, you will be responsible for technical support for OEM customer.

- Visit clients with Salesperson to lead technical discussions and propose new technology/solutions for customers' future vehicle programs (e.g., car navigation, audio systems, etc.).
- Evaluate the feasibility of requested specifications by coordinating and discussing closely with engineering teams in Japan. Act as a technical bridge to ensure that customer inquiries are accurately translated into technical requirements.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring accurate communication of technical requirements
- Visit customers together with the sales team and provide technical insights and support
- Lead project management activities and manage the sales engineering team
- Provide after-sales technical support and handle technical issues in coordination with internal engineering teams
- Work closely with the Japan headquarters and Japan-based subsidiaries to align on customers’ technical needs

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Please note that this is a highly technical role.
Strong Engineering and Technical expertise are more critical than sales skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Must have Nearly Upper-Intermediate level of Japanese proficiency (will be used to communicate with Japan HQ in terms of technical matters.)
- English proficiency at nearly upper-intermediate level

■System-Level Expertise:
-Minimum 5 years of hands-on engineering experience in automotive electronic systems (e.g., IVI, Audio, Navigation).
-Deep knowledge of PCBs and electronic components is essential.

■OEM Program Management
- Experience leading vehicle development projects (from initial design through mass production launch) for a Tier 1 supplier.
- Skilled in managing OEM technical coordination, program schedules, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment (Quality/Manufacturing).
