JOB DETAIL
Responsible for overseeing overall Human Resources operations, including recruitment, training, payroll, and performance management, along with selected General Affairs (GA) responsibilities. This role also serves as a key point of contact between local operations and Japan Headquarters, ensuring effective communication and alignment with corporate policies, business objectives, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll, and employee performance evaluation.
- Plan and implement training and employee development programs to support organizational growth and succession planning.
- Manage compensation and benefits processes, including salary reviews, bonuses, and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, internal regulations, and company HR policies, including alignment with Japan HQ guidelines.
- Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and labor-related issues.
- Manage assigned General Affairs (GA) tasks such as office administration, facilities coordination, and vendor management.
- Act as an interpreter for Japanese management during meetings and internal communications, as required.
- Coordinate and communicate regularly with Japan Headquarters on HR policies, reporting, and HR-related initiatives.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, systems, and programs from Japan HQ into local operations.
- Prepare HR reports, analysis, and updates for both local management and Japan HQ.
- Set HR-related KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Coordinate closely with management and relevant departments to support overall business operations.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- More than 10 years of experience in HR from manufacturing field is preferably
- More than 7 years of management experience
- Experience in overall HR management, including recruitment, training, payroll, and performance management
- Business-level Japanese language proficiency is required (No need JLPT, if tested)
- Intermediate-level of English
- Solid knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with Japan HQ or in a Japanese corporate environment is highly preferred.
- Experience handling General Affairs (GA) functions is an advantage.
