You will be responsible for quality control and supplier quality improvement for parts used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment (mainly metal-cut and aluminum die-cast parts).

You will work closely with suppliers to handle client quality requirements and complaints, and promote the development of systems to prevent recurrence.

Main Responsibilities:
-Handle quality complaints from clients
-Request and follow up on quality improvement activities with suppliers
-Verify and confirm the validity of improvement measures and processes implemented by suppliers
-Collaborate with suppliers to implement process improvements and preventive systems
-Maintain and improve product quality (mainly metal-cutting and aluminum die-casting parts)
-Share and report quality information internally and with suppliers

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Must Haves:
-At least 3 years of experience in quality control at a manufacturing company
-Intermediate level of English (internal communications and emails)
-Business Level in Japanese
-Experience in working with suppliers; Establishing/improving manufacturing process for quality improvement and recurrence prevention
-Experience in supplier management (no specific number of years required)
-Able to read and understand 2D machining drawings (basic symbol-level understanding is acceptable)
-Obtained a driver’s license (rarely driving as Sales staff will drive when visiting clients -but may occasionally be required)
