Looking for an experienced accounting professional to take over tasks currently outsourced to an external accounting firm, and operate daily, monthly, yearly operations and financial reports.

-Full set daily bookkeeping
-Preparation and explanation of financial statements
-Tax-related tasks
-Year-end closing (December) and audit support (February)
-Handling reporting and communication with the Japanese headquarters, including responding to inquiries

Note:
- At the beginning, you will be working on transitioning tasks from the current accounting firm (expected period: October–January)
- Report line: Japanese expat

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Intermediate level of English
*English will be used in the office, with Japanese expats. Also communicate with Japan HQs.
• Must have CPD license
• Experience in handling all accounting tasks, including monthly and yearly closing.
• Capable of preparing and explaining financial statements
• Experience with external audits
• Must have stable work history (preferably 2–3 years at the same company)
• Working experience in accounting firm is welcome
• Working experience in Japanese company is advantageous
