At the representative office of a cosmetics raw materials manufacturer, you will work as a Marketing Staff to support distributors’ sales activities.

-Visit cosmetic companies / manufacturers* together with distributors, to support their sales activities.
*Factories are Thailand, but in the future, you will also visit other countries in South East Asia as well.
-Collect information from clients and monitor market trends, to report to the factory in Japan.
-Explain the chemical technical matters, and propose their raw materials (oils, polymers, pigments, etc.) used in cosmetics.
-Attend industry exhibitions to communicate with cosmetics manufacturers and distributors, to promote raw materials to them.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

-Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
-Intermediate level of English (to communicate with Japanese expat and overseas customers)
-Over 5 years of professional experience as R&D, Technical specialist, or Sales within chemical distributors or suppliers.
-Work experience in raw materials for cosmetics, personal care, or pharmaceuticals.
-Experience limited to food ingredients/food-related chemicals is not suitable for this role
-Able to provide scientific explanations and proposals when visiting clients to support distributors
-Own a personal car and driver's license (to visit factories) is highly preferred and advantageous.

Note: In the future you will visit factories in other South East Asia.
