Job Summary:
The Mid-Level Oracle SQL Developer will review, analyze, and optimize a large set of approximately 500 stored procedures and data migration scripts within Oracle Database environments. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of stored procedures and migration scripts while collaborating with teams to support seamless data migration and system integration

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze approximately 500 existing Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures for correctness, performance, and adherence to business requirements.
- Identify and document inefficiencies, errors, or redundancies in stored procedures and propose optimization strategies.
- Validate and analyze data migration scripts to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance during data transfers across systems.
- Optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries within stored procedures and migration scripts to improve performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers, database administrators, and business analysts to understand migration requirements and ensure scripts align with business needs.
- Test stored procedures and migration scripts in development and staging environments to verify functionality and accuracy.
- Debug and resolve issues in stored procedures and migration scripts, ensuring minimal impact on data quality and system performance.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of stored procedures, migration scripts, and analysis findings.
- Assist in developing and implementing best practices for stored procedure design and data migration processes.
- Support post-migration validation and troubleshooting to ensure successful data transitions.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3–5 years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development, with a strong focus on stored procedures.
Proven experience reviewing and optimizing large sets of stored procedures and data migration scripts.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c) and tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, or SQL*Plus.
- Strong understanding of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning techniques.
- Experience with data migration processes, including ETL workflows and tools (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica).
- Familiarity with data integrity, validation, and reconciliation techniques during migrations.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
