JOB DETAIL
1. Lead the establishment of HR systems, processes, and policies for the new plant, ensuring they align with both company goals and local labor laws.
2. Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages that are attractive to new hires and align with local industry standards.
3. Drive the recruitment process, including talent sourcing, screening, and onboarding, to build a strong team from the start. Focus on attracting individuals who align with the company’s vision and values.
4. Develop a proactive approach to employee relations, addressing concerns and promoting open communication. Create a positive work environment as the plant grows.
5. Implement performance management systems and processes tailored to the new plant, ensuring alignment with business goals and employee development.
6. Develop and execute training programs to ensure that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively, while fostering career growth.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and health and safety standards in the plant’s operations.
8. Create a positive and inclusive company culture, providing leadership and guidance to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
9. Facilitate clear and effective communication between the plant’s Chinese-speaking employees and other teams, ensuring alignment and smooth operations across different language groups.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in HR management, ideally in a manufacturing or plant environment. Experience in setting up HR functions for a new facility is highly preferred.
3. Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English or Thai, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
4. Solid understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
5. Experience in HR leadership in a greenfield or new plant setup.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
