- Liaise with engineering team to develop and procure components that satisfy the relevant engineering and quality requirements.
- Responsible on planning and managing to purchase and support special project and sourcing machine, equipment, tools and other parts with the same or equivalent to specification.
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies and procedures.
- Initiate and support buyers with negotiation with suppliers regarding costs, lead-times and payment terms, etc. to ensure that requirement deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor PR, issue PO and contract, follow up delivery to supplier and take claim for all damaged goods to supplier under guarantee period.
- Attend related project meetings including New Line/Machine Meetings, Project Meetings and Design Change Implementation Meetings.
- Apply knowledge of customs formality on both import and export.
- Monitor & update delivery status with suppliers and responsibility as assigned.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree in engineering field.
- At least 1 year as in purchasing management from automotive business.
- Intermediate of English.
- Able to work on 1 Saturday per month
- Capable of handling multiple high pressure tasks and assignments simultaneously while staying focused and responsive to commitments and assignments.
- Required team mindset that easily adapts to change, overcomes challenges, and uses creative means to solve problems.
