**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Financial Strategy and Operations:**
1.1 Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with its business goals.
1.2 Oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
1.3 Implement and monitor effective internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance.

2. **Team Leadership:**
2.1 Manage a team of **9 employees**, including the **Accounting Manager** (overseeing an 8-person accounting team) and a **Finance Controller** (to be hired).
2.2 Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.

3. **IPO Readiness and Stakeholder Management:**
3.1 Lead financial preparations for the company’s IPO, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
3.2 Act as the primary contact for global stakeholders, investors, and dealers, presenting financial insights and strategies.

4. **System Implementation:**
4.1 Oversee the implementation and launch of **NetSuite** (developed by Oracle) as the company’s ERP system.
4.2 Ensure smooth integration of NetSuite into existing financial and operational workflows.

5. **Business Collaboration:**
5.1 Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to align financial strategies with business needs.
5.2 Provide insights into market trends and financial implications for decision-making.

6. **Other Responsibilities:**
6.1 Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to support business operations.
6.2 Evaluate potential cost-saving and revenue-generating initiatives.
6.3 Build relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

**Qualifications**

1. **Education & Experience:**
1.1 Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CPA is a plus).
1.2 Minimum of **10 years of experience** in senior financial roles, with at least **3 years in retail businesses** (preferably fashion or luxury brands).

2. **Technical Skills:**
2.1 Proficient in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
2.2 Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is highly preferred).
2.3 Knowledge of IPO preparation and requirements is a strong advantage.

3. **Soft Skills & Mindset:**
3.1 Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.
3.2 A proactive and results-oriented approach with **no honeymoon period**—able to deliver impact immediately.
3.3 A **marketing mindset** to align financial strategies with market trends and merchandising needs.
3.4 Excellent communication and presentation skills for global and dealer interactions.

4. **Language Proficiency:**
4.1 Fluency in English is required.
4.2 Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage (e.g., Japanese or Mandarin for global coordination).

***Preferred Qualifications***:
1.1 Holding a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CPD (Continuing Professional Development for Accountants), or CPF (Certified Professional Financial Accountant) certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
1.2 These certifications will be considered an advantage, especially for candidates with experience in IPO preparation, financial compliance, and global financial reporting.
