- Maintain an in-depth understanding of nutritional requirements for various pets (e.g., dogs, cats, exotic pets) at different life stages (puppy/kitten, adult, senior).
- Continuously research the benefits and potential risks of various ingredients, ensuring optimal nutritional balance in product formulations.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends such as grain-free diets, raw food diets, organic products, and others to ensure VetSynova's offerings are relevant and up-to-date.
2.Pet Supplement Specialization
- Develop a thorough understanding of common pet health issues that can be addressed or supplemented through nutrition, such as joint health, skin and coat wellness, digestive health, etc.
- Stay updated on research related to vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and other supplements that can enhance pet health and well-being.
- Collaborate with veterinarians or animal nutritionists to validate supplement formulations and their benefits.
3.Market Analysis & Trends
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify gaps in the current product range and potential areas for expansion.
- Analyze consumer reviews, feedback, and market best-sellers to gain insights into pet owners' preferences and unmet needs.
- Monitor global trends in pet care and nutrition, identifying potential innovations that can be introduced in the local market.
4.Product Development Process
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring products meet VetSynova's standards of quality and innovation.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to source high-quality ingredients and establish sustainable sourcing practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a product roadmap based on market research, trends, and business goals.
- Prioritize product development projects based on potential ROI, customer demand, and strategic alignment.
- Set clear milestones and deliverables for product development projects, ensuring timely progress.
5.Team Collaboration
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality ingredients and production processes.
- Engage regularly with internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, ensuring the product meets market needs.
- Organize and participate in focus groups, surveys, or feedback sessions to understand user experience and preferences.
6.Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor, guide, and support the junior product development team, fostering an innovative and collaborative environment.
- Offer continuous learning opportunities for the team, ensuring they stay updated with industry standards and best practices.
- Set performance metrics for the team, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Nutrition, Food Science, or related field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in product development within the pet food or supplement industry.
- Proven track record of innovating and launching successful products in the market.
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory standards in the pet food and supplement sector.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
