As a Cost Accountant, you will play a vital role in analyzing, monitoring, and controlling costs within our jewelry manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be essential for ensuring accurate cost allocation, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and delivering insights that enhance financial efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cost accounting, a solid understanding of the manufacturing industry, and a proven track record of optimizing financial performance.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

1.Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of manufacturing costs.
2.Conduct regular cost analyses to identify and explain variances between actual and standard costs.
3.Analyze inventory levels and product costs to optimize pricing strategies and enhance profitability.
4. Collaborate with production teams to review and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
5. Prepare Cost of Goods Sold and inventory reports for financial statements, providing management with timely and accurate information for decision-making.
6. Monitor and evaluate production costs to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
7. Perform cost analysis on new product designs, assessing feasibility and potential profitability.
8. Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, offering valuable insights and recommendations.
9. Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and oversee physical inventory counts.
10. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and company policies.
