JOB DETAIL

Brand Agency Strategy:
• Lead the strategic planning process to allow all contributors to think up creative and impactful ideas that help Chinese brands enter the Thai market
• Establish detailed consumer profiles that provide information into local consumer behaviors, attitudes, lifestyle, and other relevant insights
• Deeply understand the client brand, operations, and history, and evaluate the best ways to deliver our proposal and strategic thinking to secure alignment and approval
• Drive the creative brief writing process and be the lead on strategic thinking for client campaigns. Be comfortable in storytelling and packaging insights/tensions to drive the strategic foundation and creative springboard
• Assist creative team by providing ideas and acting as a sounding board during creative process
• Devise and execute on integrated planning sessions and brainstorms with necessary constituents to land on the most comprehensive strategy
• Perform in-depth research into cultural trends, opportunities, and appropriate competition to guide strategic recommendations and frameworks
• Be familiar with widely used and innovative insight and research tools
• Well-experienced in creating brand planning frameworks that are rooted in client brand positioning and messaging, including what is the suitable structure and how the entire ecosystem can be utilized to achieve required objectives
• Confidently present thoughts and ideas to position our team as innovative and out-of-the-box thinkers pushing disruptive ideas that still enable the client to achieve their objectives

Corporate Strategy Development and Execution:
• Lead the development of the company’s corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's mission, goals and future business line of sight.
• Co-lead the development of relevant strategies with counterparts i.e. Head of Content, Head of Marketing, Head of Web etc. ensuring strategic alignment of goals and KPIs.
• Resource Allocation: Define how resources, both human and financial, should be allocated to achieve strategic goals.

Research and Analysis:
• Market Research and Trends: identify trends, shifts, emerging opportunities, competitive landscape and benchmarking analysis in order to assess long-term viability of the business in the industry.
• Collaborate with Marketing Team to utilize data analytics and community feedback to gain insights into content performance and continuously refine strategies.
• Risk Assessment: They evaluate potential risks and challenges that the company may face, including financial, operational, and regulatory risks (including any global business environment) and therefore devise risk mitigation strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in youth culture, digital media, and technology to identify innovative content opportunities.

Guardian of the Brand Positioning Strategy
• Maintain the brand positioning strategy of company and leverage macro and micro insights to guarantee company direction remains aligned with the larger vision and objectives.
• Create guidelines that define our company’s identity and tone of voice both online and offline, as well as our branding features, value propositions and information to be shared publicly.
• Provide similar brand strategy services for client partners during briefs or other commercial-related opportunities.

Collaboration:
• Collaborate with Creative Studio to ensure content aligns with the established strategy and co-experiment with new content formats and distribution channels to expand our reach.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to integrate content effectively into promotional campaigns, client pitch and partnerships management.
• Collaborate with Tech/Web team to track audience insights, data segmentation, and SEO to optimize targeting and outreach.

Performance Tracking:
• Set clear KPIs and metrics to measure the success of content strategies and partnership engagement.
• Regularly analyze and report on content performance, adjusting strategies (course correction) as needed.

Team Leadership:
• Mentor and guide junior strategists or content teams as necessary.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and creativity within the strategy team.

Others:
• Explore regional growth opportunities for the company and commercial work to other markets in ASEAN
• Participate in other ad hoc tasks where needed

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Any gender, age 30-35 is preferrable
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, ad agencies or a related role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• A storyteller with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Creative thinking and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Leadership and team management experience is a plus.
• Excellent multi-tasker with superb organizational skills
• An understanding of local culture and how to connect and engage with the young adult demographic through storytelling and other methods
• Able to work independently with skilled time management capabilities and attention to detail
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to meet deadlines
• Excited to learn and develop additional relevant skills
• Strong computer skills, with a particular focus on Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Native Thai language skills and a strong command of the English language as well
