JOB DETAIL

External
• Communicate balanced, substantiated and relevant scientific information for both internal and external stakeholders. Respond professionally to address unsolicited requests for medical information from health care professionals including on- and off-label uses of company products.
• Develop concrete Key Opinion Leader engagement plans and demonstrate proactive long-term engagement with key external experts (KEEs) to collect medical insights as well as enhancing the data dissemination of KK’s products that address the unmet medical needs of the relevant therapeutic area.
• Report Adverse Events and Product Quality issues to appropriate local functional teams within
required timeframes.
• Ensure appropriate response to unsolicited scientific requests by healthcare practitioners for licensed products/brands (on and off label), and for products in development in different clinical trials phases, by providing accurate scientific data in compliance with local company.
• Responds to unsolicited requests regarding interest in Investigator-Sponsored Studies (ISS) and supports ISS submissions through appropriate internal processes.
• Organize advisory board meetings and clinical investigator meetings when needed.
• Participate in the development and implementation of key medical activities eg. organize expert lectures and support the company's regional/global expert lectures, provide medical booth and session coverage at scientific meetings as well as provide clinical presentations and
medical information as necessary.
• To support the company Medical Team with Medical Director in developing and implementing local Early Access/Named Patient/Compassionate use programs.

Internal
• Provide key medical insights learned from the KEEs to internal stakeholders to guide the local medical and brand plans.
• Review and approve appropriateness of promotional (detail aids etc) and non-promotional materials (slide decks, educational activities) used via appropriate review process.
• Collaborate with local team to develop and execute the affiliate-based medical strategic plans in alignment with regional medical strategy.
• Locally implement any centrally driven or approved risk mitigation programs and maintain good understanding of the quality system within the company, including pharmacovigilance, product complaint/recall handling and GDP
• Conduct of training and refreshment sessions for the field force to ensure well oriented medical and clinical data knowledge properly.
• To complete all required training, activity documentation, expense reporting, and other administrative responsibilities.
• Ensure conduct and activities are in adherence to all company and regulatory compliance policies in word and in spirit as well as to any applicable laws, codes or guidelines.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related medical science background (higher degrees - M Sc. in Pharmacy and Pharmacology are preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical /Healthcare Business or CRA experience, direct experience in MSL function, preferable in Rare Diseases therapeutic area or Specialty area
• In-depth knowledge of local healthcare systems and processes for allocation and delivery of care.
• Track record of successful working with cross functional teams locally.
• Therapy area experience (rare disease/dermatology/immunology preferred).

Key competencies specific to this role:
• Well-versed in scientific languages in order to communicate with KOLs, Medical Affairs, Research and Development, as well as other key internal and external stakeholders.
• Effective presentation skills and able to articulate complex medical/clinical data well in both written and oral communication.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good Digital Knowledge and Ability to utilize Digital Toolkits and Platform
• Team player and collaborative.
• Self-motivated with high degree of initiative.
