- Lead Ion's structural engineering efforts for Solar PV installations as key member of the Design Engineering Team
- Conduct site survey (along with Ion's electrical engineer), calculate and verify safety of structure/rooftop for solar PV installation, propose additional strengthening where required
- Design new structure for solar PV installation from the ground up, or design support strengthening where required, including but not limited to: main and supporting structure, inverter and electrical rooms, and solar mounting across all installation types (e.g. Ground mount, rooftop - shingles or concrete flat slab, etc.)
- Lead BOQ and BOM creation for civil / structural components; propose appropriate construction methods and materials with respect to company and client requirements; able to conduct detailed cost and project timeline estimates
- Create detailed and high quality layout and other required structural engineering and design output as required by company, client, and regulators (for permit application); diligently track, report, and escalate issues as required
- Lead creation of high quality and timely structural engineering and design output; develop clear output and recommendations with an action bias; able to convincingly communicate and defend proposed structural assessment and solutions with senior clients and stakeholders

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Male-Female, age between 25 - 35 years old
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields required
• Associate Civil Engineer or above preferred
• 2 years+ relevant experience in solar civil/structural engineering required
• Strong command of AutoCAD, SAP2000, and related software
• Ability to balance multiple Projects under tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English
• Able to drive a car with driver's license
