We are seeking an experienced and CPD-licensed Senior Accountant to join our Bangkok team. This is a replacement role, created to manage a growing portfolio of international clients in the manufacturing and wholesale sectors. The successful candidate will take full ownership of front-office and back-office accounting activities — from daily bookkeeping through to year-end financial statements and annual compliance — and will serve as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for our international client base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of international corporate clients across manufacturing and wholesale industries, including clients with international purchase transactions
Perform daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Prepare and file monthly statutory reports: VAT (PP.30), withholding tax (PND.1, PND.3, PND.53), and social security contributions
Book and file tax on international transactions, including import-related costs, foreign vendor payments, and cross-border withholding tax
Lead the year-end closing process and manage annual compliance with the Department of Business Development (DBD) and Revenue Department (RD), including financial statements per TFRS and corporate income tax returns (PND.50)
Perform reclassification of figures from TFRS to international reporting standards as required by international parent companies
Provide consulting and advisory support to clients on tax and accounting matters under Thai law
Liaise with local authorities including the Revenue Department, Social Security Office, and Department of Business Development whenever required
Review and supervise work of junior team members, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables
Assist with BOI reporting and compliance for promoted entities (preferable)
Support the onboarding of new clients, including setup in Express accounting software and Xero (currently being implemented for select clients)
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and proactively advise clients on their implications

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Thai national
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) license — mandatory requirement
CPA qualification highly appreciated; CPD is the minimum requirement
Minimum 6–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a consulting, audit, or multinational environment
Solid knowledge of Thai tax law, Revenue Code, TFRS, and annual compliance requirements with DBD and RD
Hands-on experience with international transactions — import bookkeeping, foreign vendor WHT, cross-border VAT treatments
Experience in manufacturing and/or wholesale industries strongly preferred
Proficient in Express accounting software; knowledge of Xero an advantage
Basic knowledge of company law and genuine interest in the business consulting industry
Strong English proficiency — fluency is a must; able to communicate confidently in writing and verbally with international clients and the General Manager
CAN-DO attitude with a strong commitment to accuracy and timeliness
Experience with BOI reporting is preferable
Availability to liaise with local authorities in person when required
