JOB DETAIL
- Assist in producing and delivering the annual revenue and sales plan, including MICE and group segmentation.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of sales action plans to ensure revenue targets are achieved.
- Analyze current and emerging market trends to identify opportunities for growth across all segments.
- Procure new and repeat business through active sales engagement with: Corporate accounts, Travel trade partners, Incentive buyers, Event planners, Associations and government organizations
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers through sales calls, presentations, trade events, and networking.
- Manage and grow assigned key accounts with clear production goals and account strategies.
- Oversee the selling, servicing, and conversion of MICE, conference, wedding, and social event business.
- Drive banquet and events revenue through proactive promotion of: Meeting packages, Residential conferences, Incentive groups, Weddings and celebrations
- Collaborate closely with the Events and Operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Attend site inspections and client presentations to secure major event opportunities.
- Meet with organizers of large-scale events to ensure expectations are exceeded and repeat business is secured.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to ensure strong positioning in the local and international MICE marketplace.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field.
- 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Strong commercial mindset with proven success in group and MICE sales growth
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and coach sales teams
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue strategies, including banquet and events contribution
- High level of professionalism aligned with hotel brand standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/Sales systems
- Good writing skills
