Quantity Surveying & Costing
• Prepare quantity take-offs based on drawings and specifications.
• Prepare quotation for client.
• Prepare job cost estimates and budgets.
• Prepare client quotations and coordinate with the Manager for approval prior to submission.
• Monitor job costs and report variances (budget vs actual).

Purchasing
• Source and evaluate suppliers for timber, boards, hardware, accessories, and consumables.
• Prepare purchase requests and purchase orders.
• Ensure materials are purchased within approved budgets.
• Track delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers.

Cost Control
• Maintain material cost records per job.
• Verify supplier invoices against delivery notes and PO.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Inventory & Documentation
• Coordinate with Supervisor on material requirements.
• Maintain purchasing records and supplier database.
• Support monthly stock checks and reconciliation.

Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with Supervisor to avoid material delays.
• Submit regular cost and purchasing reports to Management.

Authority Limits
• Prepare and recommend purchase orders.
• Purchase within approved limits and budgets.
• Supplier selection subject to management approval.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred).
- Strong costing, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Good command of English
- Proficient in Excel and basic reporting.
