Prepare and manage cost planning for new projects.

Coordinate with manufacturing departments to achieve target profit margins.

Summarize overall project costs and define cost strategies to maintain profitability.

Assess cost structures and establish cost reduction targets for new projects.

Estimate and review cost impacts from engineering changes and analyze effects on project profitability.

Finalize project costs and related expenses prior to mass production.

Analyze current production costs and set improvement targets for cost efficiency.

Follow up and coordinate with manufacturing teams to monitor progress of each project.

Update, review, and maintain cost standards and cost estimation tables.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field

Experience 3-5 years in Cost Planning within the Automotive Parts industry

Able to communicate in English or Japanese
