JOB DETAIL

- Responsible for all financial transactions, including receipts and payments.
- Prepare financial statements and related financial reports.
- Handle LC, D/P, and Forward Contract transactions.
- Prepare tax payments and submit via e-System.
- Prepare supporting schedules for month-end and year-end closing.
- Submit financial statements to the Department of Business Development (DBD) and Revenue Department (RD).
- Review account coding, verify completeness of accounting documents, manage receipts and payments, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate accounting records and journal entries.
- Manage company cash flow efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Handle foreign currency transactions and exchange at the most cost-efficient rates.
- Liaise with government authorities and banks for related matters.
- Manage accounting functions including AP, AR, Costing, and GL.
- Communicate in English and respond to emails effectively.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 8 years of experience in accounting functions (AP, AR, GL, Costing).
- Strong knowledge of financial closing and accounting standards.
- Proficient in computer and accounting systems.
- Experience in Sales Export, Letter of Credit (LC), and D/P Sight transactions.
- CPD license and strong financial closing experience will be an advantage.
