JOB DETAIL
1. Meeting Sales Goals
• Drive product sales by developing and implementing sales plans, and supervising the sales team
• Set annual sales and profit targets through strategic marketing plans and analysis of market trends and performance
• Forecast sales objectives and project revenue growth for both existing and new customers
• Monitor and manage sales volume, product mix, and pricing in response to market changes, trends, and competitor activity
• Adjust pricing strategies based on analysis of costs, competition, supply, and demand
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities for business growth
• Expected Result: Achieve accuracy and meet or exceed company sales targets
2. Reporting
• Prepare and submit monthly sales reports, customer claim reports, and inventory (long stock) reports
• Review and approve sales and purchase contracts, ensuring accurate profit breakdowns for quotations
3. Staff Training & Supervision
• Recruit, select, onboard, and train new sales staff
• Provide coaching and leadership to guide the team toward achieving company goals
• Support the team through ongoing education, guidance, and resolution of challenges
4. Additional Responsibilities
• Stay updated with industry knowledge by attending workshops and building professional networks
• Support team efforts by contributing to overall departmental goals
• Evaluate and authorize capital equipment purchases to ensure efficient use of available resources
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• at least 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in a Steel trading environment
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and develop effective sales strategies
• Experience in supervising and coaching sales teams to achieve performance goals would be an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and interpret sales reports, forecasts, and profit margins
• Experience in reviewing sales contracts and making pricing decisions based on market data
• Proficient in both Chinese and English communication (spoken and written); Thai language is a plus
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills
• Ability to adapt to market trends and identify new business opportunities
