The Engineering Manager oversees two key functions—Production department and Molding department—to ensure efficient new product introduction, stable mass production, and high-quality mold development and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
(1) Production department (R&D)
-Manage selection, specification, and installation of machinery for new products.
-Design and improve production lines, layouts, and work processes.
-Resolve production bottlenecks and support troubleshooting on the shop floor.
-Oversee new product development processes through to mass production.
-Review 3D data, supervise drawing creation, and manage product specifications.
-Lead cost analysis, cost reduction activities, raw material testing, and quality checks for new products.
-Address production and quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

(2)Mold Engineering Department
-Lead mold design, drawing creation, and process planning for new molds.
-Oversee cost estimation, mold fabrication, repair, and modification.
-Coordinate with external mold makers for production and repair work.
-Participate in mold testing, defect analysis, and drawing revisions.
-Supervise machining schedules, tooling procurement, machine programming, and mold maintenance activities.
-Analyze mold problems and ensure effective repair and improvement.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
-Strong ability to design 2D/3D drawings (CAD proficiency).
-More than 10 years of experience in plastic/silicone injection molds, injection molding processes, and mold structure.
-More than 7 years of management experience
-Experience in mold design and/or product design.
-Proven experience managing Production, R&D, and Molding functions.
-Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to oversee new product introduction (NPI), production line improvement, and mold-related technical activities.
-Upper Intermediate level of English is required (Daily communication with HQ in Japan) or Capable of Japanese language
