JOB DETAIL

Roles and Responsibilities
Set Quality Policies and Strategies:
• Plan, define policies, and set objectives for quality control and assurance in alignment with the organization’s vision and direction.
• Manage the budget and resources of the QC/QA department.
Oversee and Manage Quality Systems:
• Supervise and take responsibility for overall quality and food safety management systems (GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, Halal) to ensure strict compliance.
• Lead external and customer audits and review audit results for continuous improvement.
Manage Quality Control (QC):
• Supervise laboratory operations to ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversee quality inspection of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods to meet specifications.
Manage Quality Assurance (QA):
• Handle customer complaints, non-conformance products, and product recalls.
• Review and approve corrective and preventive actions to resolve and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Team Management and Development:
• Lead, supervise, and develop the capabilities of QC and QA personnel.
• Promote a quality-focused culture across the organization.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement:
• Prepare quality performance reports for senior management.
• Drive process improvement projects to continuously elevate quality standards.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, Agricultural Industry, or related fields.
Experience:
• 8–10 years of combined experience in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) in the food or consumer goods industry.
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership position.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in managing quality systems including GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong leadership with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
• Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and management skills.
• Effective in analyzing data and solving complex problems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Good command of English.
